Done that MANY times for SURFACES, just want the SAME to
happen for DISPLACEMENTS!!!!

BTW... a ripple image sequence (with the offending central area
erased) seems a bit extreme (forced).  Something else has got
to give.  But, if no one can give me the right numbers, then
they'll have to give me the steps in creating an image sequence
that  *precisely copies*  the ripples prodecural.
